Definition of the first range - I RANGE:
The first range fruit and vegetables are distinguished from being a fresh product, subject to minimal or no treatments and conditioning processes following its harvest.
These products are immediately, or after a short storage, ready to be sold, keeping all components and qualitative and beneficial characteristics intact, to the detriment of a strong and rapid perishability. In this regard, we recommend their consumption in a very short time.
Definition of fourth range - IV RANGE - Ready Salads - Fresh Cut - Minimally Processed vegetables - Ready To Use
Fresh vegetables and fruit and vegetables are IV range products which, after harvesting, undergo minimal technological processes aimed at guaranteeing their hygienic safety and enhancement, following good processing practices.
Therefore, IV range fruit and vegetables are defined as fruit, vegetables and, in general, fresh vegetables, with a high service content, packaged and ready for consumption.
